. Lulu is a print-on-demand style publishing program/website. It has received a PC Magazine's Editors' Choice as well as being 2008 Web 2.0 Awards Winner. My interest in this site surrounds the publishing/capitalist aspect. The website provides a venue for all creators, it doesn't discriminate between the average Joe, or the PH.D. The network created on Lulu boasts that through each other, the Lulu community, the creator has all the right connections (which they may not otherwise have when attempting to publish solo).
My angle is looking like it might be in the realm of creators, consumers, and capitalism online and the nature of the network that surrounds ventures like Lulu.
Its not far off from CafePress, but I felt that I could get more information more quickly out of Lulu. The difficulty with this class is that its a fairly short time to do research in and thus trying to conform our research to these constraints.
I'd appreciate any insight or suggestions others may have.

Sure would tie into my own research. I'm looking forward to hearing more.
